  • How can I make a booking?

    Bookings can be made 3 ways:

    1. Click on “Book Now” – (clickable) on our web site,

    2. Email to reservations@citystar.com.au

  • Do I need my credit card details to secure a booking?

    All reservations require a credit card number, expiry date and secure code to secure the booking or you can EFT the payment prior to arrival

  • Are the rates listed on the website current?

    The website www.citystar.com.au is has the best internet rates available and the rates advertised are the current rates for the motel

  • Are there any other room types?

    All room types listed on the website are the only room types we have

  • What are the opening hours for the motel?

    We open from 7:00 am and close at 10:00 pm 7 days. For late arrival please ring our office +61 7 33916222 or send an email reservations@citystar.com.au to make prior arrangement.

  • What are the opening hours for your reception desk?

    The reception desk is opened from 7:00 am and closed at 10:00 pm everyday

  • How many laundries are there and when are they open?

    There is one guest laundry available between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, which are equipped with both washing machines and dryers that are operated by coins

  • Do you have on-site car park and what is the cost?

    Yes, we have on-site basement car park available and which is complimentary to our guests It is locked from 10:00 pm and opened again 6:00 am daily.

  • What are the opening hours for your pool?

    Our Pool is opened from 7:00 am- 8:00pm.

  • Is your pool heated?

    The pool is not heated

  • How big is your pool?

    Pool size is approx 10.5 m x  4.5 m

  • What are the opening hours for the guest kitchen?

    Our guest kitchen is opened from 6:00 am- 9:00pm.

  • Do you have Internet Kiosk and where are they located?

    Yes, we have 1 Internet Kiosk available onsite located at ground floor next to the reception

  • How much does it cost to use the Internet Kiosk?

    $2.00 for 20 minute

  • Do you have printing and fax facilities?

    Printing and fax services are also available from the reception

  • Do your rooms have wireless Internet?

    All of our guest rooms have access to wireless internet (fees apply)

  • Do any of your rooms interconnect?

    Our rooms do not interconnect due to the motel layout

  • Do all hotel rooms have TV’s?

    All rooms come with TVs

  • Do you take booking requests?

    Requests such as pool views and a room close to friends will be noted on bookings but unfortunately cannot be guaranteed. The reception staff will always do their best to accommodate your needs if possible.

  • Do all your rooms include a shower and a bath?

    All of our guest rooms have bathrooms – the bathroom has a shower but no bath

  • What is the kitchen equipped with in the two-bedroom suite?

    The suite has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle

  • Do the motel rooms have a full kitchen?

    Our motel rooms do not have a kitchen, however, they have a small bar fridge, kettle, cups and saucers, tea, coffee and sugar sachets. Toasters and Microwave can be requested upon availability.

  • Are all your rooms air conditioned?

    Our motel rooms are air conditioned

  • Do you make exceptions on the maximum number of guests per room?

    The maximum number of people permitted to stay is as quoted (no exceptions)

  • What views are available from your rooms?

    All rooms either have pool views, park views or face towards motel courtyard

  • What time can I check in?

    Check-in is from 2:00 pm, however, there is a luggage storage room for motel guests who arrive early or wish to store luggage on departure

  • Can reception help me book holiday activities and tours?

    Sure, we can help you to book airport transfers, tours, car rental, theme park tickets, buses and cruises through the reception desk

  • What transfers are available from Brisbane Airport?

    Brisbane Airport is approx. 15 km away from the motel and transfers are available shuttle bus or taxi

  • How far away is the Gold Coast Airport from Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane?

    Gold Coast Airport is approx 100 km from Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane

  • How far are you from Brisbane attractions?

  • How far away is Byron Bay from Econo Lodge City Brisbane?

    Byron Bay is 163 km (about 2 hours drive)

  • How far away is Cairns from Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane?

    Cairns is 1800 km away

  • Are there shuttle bus transfers to and from the Brisbane Airport?

    Shuttle bus transfers are available to and from the Brisbane Airport operated by Con-x-ion, which meets all flights.

  • How much would a transfer from Brisbane Airport to Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane cost?

    Bookings available from the reception at $20 per person one way

  • How much would a taxi cost from Brisbane Airport to Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane cost?

    Transfer by taxi is about $45

  • Driving directions to the Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane

    From the north: On the Pacific Motorway, take Vulture Street exit (2), turn left at the FIRST set of traffic lights* at Main Street. Proceed toward Kangaroo Point and Story Bridge through 2 sets of traffic lights (at Princess Street and Baines Street – both on the right).

    Sinclair Street is the first right turn after Baines Street. Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane is on the far right corner of Main and Sinclair Street, with a convenient off street ramp on Sinclair St. directly to the motel reception.

    From the south: On the Pacific Motorway, take the Stanley Street exit (2), turn right at the FIRST set of traffic lights at Allen Street. Turn RIGHT into Vulture Street. Turn left at the SECOND set of traffic lights* at Main Street. Proceed toward Kangaroo Point and Story Bridge through 2 sets of traffic lights (at Princess street and Baines street – on the right).

    Sinclair Street is the first right after Baines Street. Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane is on the far right corner of Main and Sinclair Street entrance to the motel reception, from a convenient off street ramp.

    * If you miss the Main Street traffic lights turn, proceed to next set of traffic lights at Duke Street, turn left and proceed straight to Baines Street, where you should see Raymond Park directly in front of you. Turn left at the T intersection, and then turn right at the traffic lights. Sinclair St and the motel are on your 1st right.

  • How can I qualify to book a group accommodation?

    A Group reservation consists of any party consisting of 15 paying people, or 10 paying rooms.

  • Can we use your conference room for our group meetings/functions?

    Yes, the group can have access to our conference room subject to availability.

  • Do you have conference room available for hire?

    Yes, we have one conference room available. Our central location in Brisbane and complimentary access to our car parking bays makes Econo Lodge City Star Brisbane an ideal venue for your next meeting or seminar.
